These clients commissioned a new granny flat at the rear of their property to accommodate their aging parents. The design needed to meet local council regulations while addressing the needs of both families. They requested a modern, distinctive home featuring high ceilings and large windows, with privacy and separation from the main house. The final design is a standalone residence nestled in the backyard, yet easily accessible from the street and the main house, providing a comfortable and private living space.
